Welcome to the AMS PTSA!

We're glad you're here.

The Anderson Middle School PTSA is supported through membership fees, donations, and fundraising efforts that help fund PTSA-sponsored programs and activities.  We bring together parents, teachers, students, and community members to strengthen the Anderson community through volunteer-driven programs, fundraising, and meaningful engagement. 

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the AMS Media Center, and we encourage anyone to attend, share ideas, and fresh perspectives, and learn more about the work we're doing to support our school.

Upcoming Events

• May 4-8 - Staff Appreciation Week - Our very own AMS PTSA Teacher Appreciation Committee, led by Erin Thomas, Katy Fasl and Autumn Sehi, will be coordinating all the fun, food, and surprises!
• May 14 - Honors Breakfast - 7:30AM in the AMS Cafeteria - The AMS PTSA will help with setup, etc.
• June 5 - 8th Grade Year-End Trip to CJ Barrymores - The AMS PTSA will be donating $1,500 to offset the bus costs  
• June 11 - 8th Grade Clap Out, Promotional Ceremony, and Dance - The AMS PTSA is collaborating with NJHS to fundraise for the dance
• June 12 - Field Day & Last Day of School for 6th & 7th Grade Students - The AMS PTSA is hoping to partner with Ray’s Ice Cream (who sponsored a raffle basket at our VikingFest earlier this year) to offer ice cream and sorbet for our students on their last day of school

Open Committees: VikingFest (Back to School Event) Coordination, Reflections Arts Program, Caring & Sharing Program, DEI Coordinator, Founders Day Coordinator, Off to the Races Raffle Basket Coordinator, and Teacher Appreciation. • Review and Approval of our AMS PTSA Bylaws - AMS PTSA 2026 Revised Proposed Bylaws

The Board will present the updated bylaws at our April 7th Meeting for review and approval by our members. Any further changes will need to be approved by our May 12th Meeting, so we can submit them to the state by the June deadline.
